We will have 3 pick-up locations:
7.00 AM: Departure from Finch subway station – Yonge St./Bishop Ave
7.30 AM: Our 2nd pick-up location is Scarborough Town Centre
9.00 AM: Stop at Big Apple Colborne, where our homemade apple pies and apple bread are made and baked right in front of you! Time for breakfast (Cost of breakfast not included)
1.30 PM: Arrive in Ottawa + free time for lunch
3.00- 5.00 PM: Enjoy the annual Tulip Festival at the Commissioners Park & Major’s Hill Park
5.30 PM: Check in to your hotel - Hilton Lac-Leamy (4.5 star)

Morning: Enjoy a hot buffet breakfast at the hotel
9.00 AM: Check out
10.00-12.00: Enjoy a 2-hour guided city tour of Ottawa with professional tour guide to see the highlights of Ottawa (including: Parliament Hill, the Supreme Court of Canada, the Rideau Canal, the Residence of the Prime Minister, the Residence of the Governor General, the National Gallery of Canada and the Canadian Museum of Civilization. This tour includes one photo stop. A portion of this tour includes walking (weather permitting).
12.30 Drive towards 1000 Islands
3.15 – 4.15 PM: Enjoy an optional 1-hour cruise amongst the magnificent 1000 Islands (weather permitting)
4.30 PM: Drive towards Toronto
We expect to arrive at Finch subway station around 8.30 PM (With regular traffic)

Please note that the standard rooms in most of the hotels have maximum 2 double beds. So, the ones who book a Triple room need to know that two of them will need to sleep in 1 double bed, as the hotel does not provide any extra bed.

Since 1953, the Canadian Tulip Festival has been celebrating the legacy of the tulip, Ottawa’s flower, which symbolizes the strong bonds of friendship between Canada and the Netherlands, forged in Canada’s role in the Liberation of the Netherlands during the Second World War. Major’s Hill Park: Major’s Hill Park is a park in downtown Ottawa, Ontario. The park stands above the Rideau Canal at the point where it enters the Ottawa River. Across the canal to the west are the parliament buildings, to the north of the park is the National Gallery of Canada, and to the east are the United States embassy and the Byward Market. To the south is the Chateau Laurier hotel, built on land that was once part of the park.
Commissioners Park: Commissioner’s Park in Ottawa, is a major tulip viewing area with the highest concentration of tulips in the region during the annual Tulip Festival, numbering as many as 300,000.

1st pick-up location: Finch subway station – Yonge St./Bishop Ave (east of Yonge St. 30 meters on Bishop Ave) – There is a large Parking Lot at Bishop/Willowdale. You need to park at the end of the parking, that is exactly our pick-up location. This pickup location is suitable for day trips. Free parking on weekends and statutory holidays. BUT Cars cannot be left overnight after 2 AM.
2nd pick-up location: Scarborough Town Centre (Address: 300 Borough Dr, Scarborough, ON M1P 4P5) . The bus stops directly outside the Cineplex movie theatres at the Scarborough Town Centre. This pickup location is suitable for day trips. IF YOU NEED TO PARK YOUR CAR: Park anywhere near the movie theatres. This pickup location is suitable for day trips. Free parking all day. BUT Cars cannot be left overnight after 2 AM.
